Zoning Board of Appeals
The Zoning Board of Appeals is comprised of five (5) members, appointed by the Mayor and approved by the Village Council, for terms of five (5) years. This is a paid appointment. As a whole, this Board is authorized to carry out various duties, including:
- Hear and decide appeals where it is alleged there is an error in any border, requirement, decision or determination made by the Zoning Administrator.
- Authorize or deny the issuance of conditional use permits.
- Decide any questions involving the interpretation of the Zoning map.
- Adopt rules and regulations pertaining to Zoning matters.
- Attend monthly Zoning meetings.
