Government

The Village of Minster is a statutory form of government with an elected Mayor, six Council members and an appointed Fiscal Officer. The village is managed by an appointed Village Administrator. The Planning Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals, Community Improvement Corporation and Shade Tree Commission are also active in local government business.

While the government, with its elected officials, is responsible for the overall operation of the local community, there are many Village boards, committees and commissions comprised of appointed, civic-minded community members that all play a vital role in continuing to make Minster a great place to live or do business.
