The 2017 Minor Street Resurfacing project will begin this week. Buehler Asphalt Paving, out of St. Marys, Ohio, are currently posting temporary parking and traffic restriction signs.

As the majority of local schools will be going back in session, the Minster Municipal Pool will be adjusting its hours starting Wednesday, August 23, 2017.  The new pool hours will be as follows:

Monday – Thursday  4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Friday - Closed
Saturday - Closed...

Bids were recently opened for the 2017 Minor Street Resurfacing project.  Two bids were received and a contract awarded to the low bidder, Buehler Asphalt Paving out of St. Marys, Ohio with a bid price of $269,537.45.  The project estimate was $300,288.25.

The annual Minster Civic Golf outing is scheduled for Friday, July 28th at the Arrowhead golf course. The golf outing benefits the Minster Fire Department and Rescue Squad.

Last year, over 130 people participated in the golf outing raising more than $12,000. Registration is limited to the first 144 golfers....
