The Village of Minster will begin working on replacing the water line along State Route 66 from First Street to Southgate Drive the week of April 17, 2017.  Beginning on the 17th of April, the village will be working at the intersection of First Street and State Route 66 (Main Street). During this time the intersection will be closed to all traffic.  A local detour will be posted to help customers and deliveries navigate through the construction.

Once crews have installed the water line in the intersection, work will proceed south down State Route 66. During this time, State Route 66 from First Street to Southgate Drive will remain open, but will be reduced to one lane of traffic when work is being conducted on the project. There will be a local detour posted for those wishing to avoid the construction area all together.

The Village anticipates this project taking approximately four to six weeks to complete.  We are asking businesses in the area to inform both customers and delivery drivers of possible delays at the project site and to inform them of the posted detour if they wish to avoid any delays. We appreciate your patience during this period.
