ONU Students Working in the Village of Sunday, April 2nd

Date:
03/28/17

On Sunday, April 2nd at 10:30 a.m. 10 to 15 engineering students from Ohio Northern University will be in the village working on the Global Positioning System (GPS) for the village’s electrical system.  This is a service the students are providing to the village and ties into their curriculum.  The students will be working for approximately 4 to 5 hours on this project and will use devices to scan and locate all of the overhead electrical wires throughout the village.  As many of these electrical wires are in the alleys, these students will be walking along both the alleys and the streets and may have to enter into a few yards to correctly track the wire.  If you see a student in and around the alleys on Sunday, they are mostly likely a student working on this project.  Please remember to use caution as these students will be using devices to scan the electrical lines and their attention will be on their work.
